Abstract

W życiu każdego człowieka, stworzonego na obraz i podobieństwo Boże, musi pojawić się pytanie o sens życia i sens śmierci. Problem sensu prędzej czy później musi przybrać postać ewangelicznego pytania: „do kogo pójdziemy?”. Chodzi o odnalezienie w życiu ludzkim takiej drogi, która nie kończy się nicością, pustką i bezsensem. Dla chrześcijanina miłość Boga określa treść ludzkiego przeznaczenia. Zbliżą się On do człowieka w Jezusie Chrystusie. I Jezus Chrystus da ostateczne wyjaśnienie sensu drogi naszego życia i On jest kluczem do tajemnicy śmierci.

Every person, created in the image of God, will at some point ask a question pertaining to the meaning of life and the meaning of death. This will sooner or later turn into the evangelical question of „To whom shall we go?” The problem is to find a way in human life that does not end in nothingness, void and nonsense. For a Christian, God’s love shapes the essence of human destiny. God approaches man in Jesus Christ. And it is Jesus Christ who will ultimately explain the meaning of our lives and it is Him who holds the key to the mystery of death.
