dc.description.abstract	An article is a proof of the description of the Polish studies on the relation sacrum - literature. It gives a historical background of these studies and analysis of the meaning words sacrum and profanum. It is rather doubtful that opposition sacrum - profanum is real and is correct for the selfunderstanding of Christianity. The main part of the article reviews diverse conceptions of the relation sacrum - literature in Poland (esp. Irena Stawińska and Stefan Sawicki).	en
