Wiara jako warunek biblijnego uzdrowienia. Uzdrowienie jako znak budzący wiarę

Abstract

Wielość cudów i znaków, jakie zapisane są na kartach Biblii, skłania do stawiania pytań o ich właściwe przesłanie. Trudno bowiem uwierzyć, by Bóg czynił je jedynie dla samej ingerencji w świat i życie ludzkie. Jednym z częstszych znaków Boga wobec człowieka jest uzdrowienie z choroby. Również w tym działaniu wyraźnie widać, że Bóg przekracza granice ludzkiego ciała, troszcząc się o całego człowieka. Ewangeliczne sceny są tego niezbitym dowodem. Ważna przy tym jest postawa człowieka, który jest odbiorcą uzdrowienia, a także świadków tego wydarzenia. W artykule zostało ukazane starotestamentalne tło rozumienia cudu-znaku, także na płaszczyźnie terminologicznej. Działanie Boga i Chrystusa, dokonujących uzdrowień, ukazane zostało w kontekście zbawienia, co nadaje tej posłudze właściwe miejsce. Potwierdza to także zaprezentowana terminologia odnosząca się do taumaturgicznej posługi Jezusa. Na tym tle przedstawione zostały relacje między wiarą a uzdrowieniem, zarówno w odniesieniu do Chrystusa, do osoby uzdrawianej, jak i świadków tego wydarzenia. W ostatnim punkcie autor prezentuje realizację posłannictwa uzdrawiania z wiarą i w mocy Ducha Świętego przez Kościół. Cuda biblijne, w tym także uzdrowienia, mogą być właściwie rozumiane tylko w świetle wiary. Nie można bowiem interpretować działania Boga, jeśli się w Niego nie wierzy. Z tego względu w taumaturgicznej posłudze Jezusa, który także działa z wiarą, warunkiem do uzdrowienia jest ufność, że może On dokonać cudu. Do wiary wzywa on tych, których uzdrawia, a także świadków tego wydarzenia. Jednocześnie budzi On i umacnia wiarę, pod wpływem dokonanego uzdrowienia. Do tej misji posłał Chrystus cały Kościół, czego wyrazem jest posłanie i obietnice przekazane Apostołom (Mk 16,15-17).

The multiplicity of miracles and signs that are written in the Bible, prompts us to ask questions about their proper message. It is difficult to believe that God did it only for the sake of interference in the world and in human life. Healing disease is one of the more common signs of God for people. In this action we can clearly see that God transcends the human body and takes care of the person as a whole. The Gospel scenes are the unquestionable proof of that. The attitude of a man, who is the recipient of healing, is important as well as is the attitude of witnesses of this event. The article shows the Old Testament background to understand the miracle-sign, also at the terminology level. The activity of God and Christ, performing healings has been shown in the context of salvation. which gives this ministry the right meaning. This is also confirmed by the terminology presented in relation to the thaumaturgic ministry of Jesus. Based on this background the relationship between faith and healing has been presented in relation to Christ, to the person receiving the healing, as well as to the witnesses of this event. In the last section of the article the author presents the mission of healing with faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit realised through the Church. The biblical miracles, including healings, can be properly understood only in the light of faith. It is impossible to interpret the actions of God, if one does not believe in Him. For this reason, in the thaumaturgic ministry of Jesus, who also acts with faith, trust that He can perform a miracle is a condition for healing. He calls to the faith those, who He heals, as well as witnesses of this event. At the same time He stimulates and strengthens the faith, under the influence of healing. Christ sent the whole Church for this mission,, which is reflected in the message and promises transferred to the Apostles (Mk 16,15-17).
