Współczesna problematyka teologii trynitarnej

Abstract

The article presents the main problems discussed in the contemporary theology of the Holy Trinity. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church (n. 234) the mystery of the Trinity constitutes the center of the faith and the life of the Christians. The Jubilee of the Year 2000 is a good occasion for a meditation on this Mystery. Among the theologians there is a consensus that the mystery of the Holy Trinity is very central truth of the faith and that it should not be considered as an abstract one. The problems presented in the article are following: the place of the theological treatise of the Trinity (at the begining or at the end of the dogmatics), the biblical bases of the doctrin of the Trinity (the value of the Paschal Mystery), the ontology of the love (the love as a category of being), the notion of the person (relational or psychological and Rahner’s suggestion), consciousness of the divine persons (one divine consciousness or three of them and the risk of a tritheism).
