Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba ukazania teologii aniołów w liturgii. Autor ukazuje wizję Ratzingera, która dochodzi do głosu we mszy katechumenów w liturgii sprawowanej w Nadzwyczajnej Formie Rytu Rzymskiego. Argumenty przedstawione przez Josepha Ratzingera nie były w rzeczywistości liturgiczne, ale przedstawiały implikacje między określoną celebracją liturgiczną a prawdami dogmatycznymi. Artykuł analizuje także starożytny hymn Gloria in excelsis Deo jako hymn aniołów i przygotowanie do przyjścia Chrystusa w konsekrowanym chlebie i winie.
The article regards chosen aspects of theology of the angels in the liturgy. Author shows Ratzinger’s vision of union between heaven and earth in liturgical texts for the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite. Arguments given by Joseph Ratzinger were not in fact liturgical but have been presenting implications between a definite liturgical celebration and the dogmatic truths. The article analyzes also ancient anthem Gloria in excelsis Deo as a hymn of angels and preparation for coming of Christ in consecrated bread and wine.
